Andy D'Addario, LPC, counselor at Lansing Counseling

Life isn’t always easy. Sometimes, we need a little bit of help to work through some of life’s more challenging problems.

Everyone has hurdles to overcome at some point. You may be an individual who struggles with anxiety, depression, or a different mental health issue. Yet again, you may be a distant couple seeking marriage counseling, or a discouraged parent seeking family counseling. Whatever your issue is, you should know that there is hope for a better tomorrow.

You might be initially hesitant to seek out help and support for personal matters, but when you do, you will feel confident that you are taking a courageous first step towards getting to a better place and being a better you.

I like to care for people who feel like there is something blocking them from experiencing life the way it is supposed to be. You may be feeling seriously weighed down by stress, emptiness, fear, guilt, sadness, questions, doubts, or uncertainty.

Perhaps there is something you’ve been putting off for too long–a wound or a scar–and now it’s time to address it. But it might not be as heavy: maybe you simply want to talk through some things & have someone trustworthy from the outside off whom you can bounce thoughts. Or perhaps you would like to find something deeper out of life, but don’t know where to begin searching. I have a heart for people who struggle to understand the world.

But whatever it is you are going through, I have been trained specially for responding to even your darkest secrets with warmth, understanding, and unconditional acceptance. My passion is helping you find your true self and watching you bloom. The end result is freedom, peace, life, purpose, change, and growth.
