Alison Muehlman (she/her), MA, LPC Counselor at Lansing Counseling
Welcome, I’m happy that you’re here! Seeking support is a sign of strength. As a licensed
clinician, my goal is to create a safe and open space in which you feel heard, valued, and
supported. I’m a collaborative counselor, and through our partnership, you’ll explore the many
thoughts, feelings and experiences that you would like to address. I will help you develop
confidence and inner strength in your responses to challenges. We’ll work together to reveal
and reduce any reliance upon old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve you. During therapy,
you will grow in your self-awareness and begin to resolve concerns that show up in your life.
Together, we will set goals and work towards outcomes that hold meaning for you. While I
utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, I primarily approach this work from
Person-Centered and Cognitive-Behavioral frameworks. I specialize in working with adults ages
20-50. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship/attachment issues, life
transitions, low self-esteem, trauma, or grief and loss, I am here to help you and support you.
